The Details:

what: downhill mini-bicycle group ride / race

when: held on or near the full-moon of each month

where: meet at 2nd & Kirk in Roanoke, bicycles and people get shuttled to the Roanoke Star at the top of Mill Mountain, then mini-bike ride back down to 2nd & Kirk

leave no trace: whatever you bring to STARBOMB be sure it leaves with you or is recycled / disposed of properly

afterparty: Blue 5 (on corner of 2nd & Kirk)

what to ride: mini-bicycles (12, 16 & 20 inch wheeled kids bikes) are preferred, though riders are enthusiastically welcomed to ride any type of bicycle they'd like :) bicycles customized specifically for STARBOMBing are celebrated!!

who: everyone. even if you don't have a bike, if you'd like to STARBOMB we'll help find you one. *everyone rides at their own risk*

what to wear: a helmet and protective gear are recommended. and the wildest clothing/costume you can come up with. get as crazy as your imagination will take you, and then go over the edge and you'll fit right in with STARBOMBers.

our very top priority is creating wild & juicy FUN together, and this whole sha-bang exists because our Portland peeps http://zoobomb.net/ revealed to the world that going downhill FAST on mini-bicycles is mega-fun ... but no one keeps track of who gets to the bottom first or last.

so, ride as fast as is fun for you *and* with enough control to keep yourself and your fellow STARBOMBers reasonably safe ;)
